Meet the Charities

Reach out and Read (ROR) is making books part of a healthy childhood. ROR trains doctors and nurses to advise parents about the importance of reading aloud to kids and gives books to children at pediatric check-ups from 6 months to 5 years of age. ROR programs focus on children growing up in poverty and reach more than 2 million children annually in all 50 states. It only takes a small contribution to bring the love of reading to a young child. For roughly $5 you can support a single child for 1 year and for only $27.50, that same child will get a book at every well-child visit from age 6 months to 5 years. KW Cares is the non-profit affiliated with Keller Williams Realty and it is dedicated to helping agents and communities in times of crisis. Olde Towne Medical Center (OTMC) is a public-private non-profit agency providing cost-effective, comprehensive primary and preventive health care (including obstetrical) to uninsured, Medicaid, and Medicare population living in three (3) political jurisdictions with an approximate total population of 100,000. At the heart of the Center's mission is the provision of preventive care and early intervention services to a vulnerable and disadvantaged population with services to children and their families a priority.
