Local company, Move with Purpose™,
made its Arlington debut at this year's
Town Day celebration on September 9. The
company offers a line of activewear that
features both the Move with Purpose™
mantra and their signature turtle. The company's
mission is to combine activewear that motivates
and inspires with a unique philanthropic
effort they call "The 20% Rule", which is
the company's pledge to give 20% of the
sales proceeds from its products to fund
non-profits. Their featured non-profit on
Town Day was Reach Out and Read, a national
organization that is making reading part
of a healthy childhood for children growing
up in poverty.
