December KINSTRETCH Training at Motive: Consistency, Clean Reps, and Purposeful Input
December 17, 2025 | Kinstretch
December is one of the most important months of the year for your mobility. It’s when routines get disrupted, and stress goes up, but your joints still need consistent input to keep you feeling and moving well. That’s why this month’s KINSTRETCH-driven programming at Motive Training focuses on clean reps, purposeful intent, and structured sessions designed to improve your joint capacity from the inside out.
KINSTRETCH is the backbone of what we do. It gives you the control, range, and awareness you need before strength work can do its job. December takes that philosophy and spreads it across six weekly sessions, including two new Pattern Days that tie mobility directly into loaded movement.
The goal is simple: build control where you lack it, reinforce the positions your body needs most, and carry that into stronger patterns over time.
Why December KINSTRETCH Matters
As the year winds down, most people move less, sit more, and feel it in their joints. KINSTRETCH provides the structure your body needs to counter the stiffness that comes from long days, travel, and irregular schedules.
Consistent mobility work helps you:
- Improve end-range strength.
- Build better joint awareness.
- Reduce daily aches and tightness.
- Move into the new year with momentum.
When KINSTRETCH becomes part of your weekly rhythm, you don’t lose your movement foundation. You build it.
The December Class Breakdown
Six days. Clear intent. Each session builds on the one before it.
Monday – 6:15 PM with Brian Murray: Internal Positions
KINSTRETCH principles drive the entire session. You’ll train internal rotation across the ankle, knee, hip, and shoulder, plus spinal flexion and other closing-angle positions most people overlook.
Internal rotation is a critical piece of joint health. When you strengthen these ranges, your patterns get cleaner, your joints feel better, and your strength work becomes more efficient.
Tuesday – 5:30 PM with Stone Talamantes: Pattern Mobility → Pattern Loading
This is where mobility meets strength.
You’ll begin by improving the joint positions required for squats, hinges, lunges, pushing, and pulling. Then, once those positions are controlled, you’ll load them.
Pattern Days translate your KINSTRETCH work into stronger, more sustainable patterns in the gym. Cleaner joints create cleaner reps.
Wednesday – 6:15 PM with Brian Cassady: External Positions
Wednesday focuses on external rotation of the knee, hip, and shoulder, along with spinal extension and open-angle positions that improve resilience. This balances the internal work from Monday and helps reinforce the full spectrum of joint capacity.
KINSTRETCH prioritizes rotation and end-range control. This session applies exactly that.
Thursday – 5:30 PM with Brian Murray: Pattern Mobility → Pattern Loading
A second Pattern Day reinforces Tuesday’s work.
You’ll start with mobility inputs based on KINSTRETCH principles, then build load and control on top of those improved positions.
This is a direct bridge between mobility training and strength training. Clarity in your joints leads to better output in your patterns.
Friday – 5:00 PM with Andres Ubach: Tools & Loaded End-Range
Friday drills into end-range strength. You’ll use blocks, sliders, bands, and other tools to access deeper ranges and apply force where your joints need it most.
KINSTRETCH emphasizes end-range tissue adaptation. This class builds it.
Sunday – 10:15 AM with Brian Cassady: Full-Body Integration
Sunday ties everything together.
You’ll move through a mix of linear and rotational patterns, challenging your coordination, awareness, and full-body control. Think of this day as recalibration—steady, grounded work that prepares you for the week ahead.
Closing Thoughts: Your December KINSTRETCH Plan
This month is about showing up and doing the work that pays off long-term. Clean reps. Clear intent. Stronger joints. More control. December lays the foundation for how you’ll move in the new year, and this structure makes it easier to stay consistent when everything else feels chaotic.
If you’re ready to train with purpose this month, the door is open.
