KINSTRETCH Online
KINSTRETCH Online is the class we teach in our Austin studio, built into a library you can train from anywhere. More than 125 sessions grounded in Functional Range Conditioning and taught by Motive coaches, for $24 a month.
Sessions run from a ten-minute warm-up to a full routine, on your schedule.
01
What KINSTRETCH is
KINSTRETCH is a mobility system built on Functional Range Conditioning, the joint training system developed by Dr. Andreo Spina. Classes work joints at the edges of their range, where most training never goes, to build range you can reach and produce force in on your own. Every class opens by taking the joints through controlled rotations and then loads end range with isometric work, so what you gain carries into lifting, sport, and an ordinary day.
Stretching on its own mostly builds tolerance for a position, and that tolerance fades when the stretching stops. KINSTRETCH loads the position with strong contractions, which gives the nervous system evidence that you control it there. That’s the kind of range that holds. The longer case for the method lives on our KINSTRETCH page.

What's in the library
The full library holds more than 125 sessions organized by joint and by progression level, and we keep adding to it. Classes run from ten to fifty minutes. The short ones are designed as warm-ups or a focused block on one joint; the long ones are complete routines. There are programs for home and for the gym, plus a foundations section for anyone new to the work.
Stream on your phone, tablet, computer, or TV. Membership is $24 a month with no contract, and you can cancel anytime.
03
Tracking progress without a coach in the room
CARs are the self-assessment. Done regularly, they show you where each joint stops and if that point is moving over time, and the classes teach you what to watch for. Put that next to what you already know about your training history and any past injuries, and you have a workable picture of which joints need attention first.
When the picture isn’t clear, ask us. Record the movement you want eyes on and send it to us as a DM. We stay in touch with every member, and a DM is the fastest way to reach us. From there we’ll help work out what to train next.
04
Who it fits
KINSTRETCH Online is built for people outside Austin and for studio members who want sessions between classes. Anyone whose schedule rules out a fixed class time will find it easier to keep up with than a studio membership.
Recurring stiffness and nagging joints often show up alongside range a person can’t control, and training that control is most of what this library does. If pain is the main reason you’re looking, get it evaluated before you start, so the work is aimed at something measured.
If you live in Austin, start in the studio. A few classes in person, with a coach correcting you in real time, will make every online session afterward more useful.
05
What else comes with membership
The class library is the core of KINSTRETCH Online. Two other pieces come with it, and they’re what keep the work going once the first few weeks are behind you.
The first is the Motive Mobility community, where members ask questions, share progress, and see what other people are working on. That matters more than it sounds. Most people who drop mobility work don’t drop it because the work failed. They drop it because they trained alone, and nobody noticed when a joint stalled or the schedule slipped. A place to say “my left hip still pinches at the same point in the rotation” and get an answer, from us or from a member who worked through the same thing, keeps the training aimed at the right joint and keeps you showing up.
The second is Learn With Purpose, our education hub on how joints move and how to train them with intent. The classes tell you what to do. Learn With Purpose is where the why lives: what a position is asking of the joint, and why the work is built the way it is. People who understand the purpose of a position do it better, and they keep doing it when nobody is checking.
Both are included in the $24 a month membership, with nothing extra to buy.

Meet your instructors
KINSTRETCH Online is taught by Brian Murray, founder of Motive Training, and Andres Ubach, a personal trainer at Motive in Austin. Between them they have more than two decades of coaching, and both hold KINSTRETCH Level Two, the highest certification the system offers.
They’ve used this work with professional athletes and with people managing long-term pain, and the classes are taught the same way they coach in the studio. Each one explains what you’re training and why, because people who understand the purpose of a position tend to do it better and keep doing it.

FAQ
Questions about KINSTRETCH Online
- How is this different from a KINSTRETCH class in the studio?
-
It's the same system taught by the same coaches. What changes is live correction. In the studio, a coach watches your joints and adjusts you on the spot; online, you rely on the cues in each class, your own CARs, and video troubleshooting when you need it.
- I've never done KINSTRETCH. Can I start online?
-
Yes. The library has a foundations section built for exactly that, covering joint rotations and positioning before anything more demanding. If you're in Austin, a class or two in the studio first is still the better start.
- What equipment do I need?
Very little. Many sessions use nothing but bodyweight and your own muscular tension. For the few tools that help, our rundown of the tools we use at Motive covers what each one does.
- How long are the classes?
-
Ten to fifty minutes. Some are short by design, like quick warm-ups, and others are full routines.
- Can I cancel?
-
Anytime. There's no contract, and membership runs month to month at $24.
- Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
Yes, through Truemed. You apply with Truemed for a Letter of Medical Necessity, and reimbursement comes after purchase. Email us once you've signed up and we'll send you the link.
